As it is now, the RAM arm that I have is too long; the bars hit at full lock - I'll need to order the short version.

I like the ingenuity. Being anti-GPS myself (I print maps and keep them in a small velcro pocket-map reading is becoming a lost art) and anti-bolting assorted BS to the bike, that's a clever solution. Now lose the cat and the stock muffler-you would not believe what that muffler weighs vs. a slip on-plus it's up high.
