Today was no exception.
Why can't just be in and out and pleasant...Just once. WHY?!?

Today I was in 'there' and I dropped my wallet. My mistake.

About an hour later I realized I had lost it.
I went back and checked at the window where I had been 'served'.

"I lost my wallet".

them- "I wasn't working here".

"I know. Would check the lost and found please"?

-time passes-

them- "The lady that was working here is on lunch".

-time passes-
-very brief search is made-

them- "I couldn't find it".

I went outside and sat in my truck. Looked some more.
Ran the a/c and ate lunch.

I went back inside. ( other door. other side of the building )

"Hi. I lost my wallet. It's brown."

Different them- "Is this it"? ( holds up 'Dora the Explorer' hand bag )

I said: "Yes, that's it"!

He smiled and held up my real wallet.
I thanked him. At least he had a sense of humor.
