Have sailed Lasers and Force 5's a lot. A lot of fun, particularly if you get involved with an active group and take up racing (when you first start you will become familar with the term OTH - Over The Horizon - that's where the rest of the fleet is...
. Very inexpensive hobby and can get addictive.
Note: a laser will plane when the wind picks up and its kind of like going into Startrek warp drive when it comes up on a plane.
Get you a good life vest and be prepared to get wet.
