I never expected to find so many nicely preserved samples of pre-WW1 military defences around th Puget Sound. I only visited
Fort Flagler,
Fort Casey
seems even better (you can click on the battery names to get pictures).
Fort Casey is certainly on my list of sites to visit next trip.
