Rick, you have taken the words right out of my mouth. I am so depraved lately, it seems I only smile out of irony and sarcasm. I am turning Schopenhauer in spades while waiting for a five year long middle age crisis to subside. Ridiculous and pathetic.

Meanwhile, I have a very dear friend who does not have a job, no money and live with his mother since many years but he is still the most optimistic, happy and easy going person I know. He sees life for what it is (what?) and take one day at a time, enjoying the moment. Why canīt I adopt that attitude.
