Unfortunately, "nice guy" and "smart" aren't synonymous. Bernie was in it when big money was present. The doors these guys have open to them is without end. Living in Pittsburgh, we have had our share of failures (Mike Webster, Steve Courson) and success's (Lynn Swann, Terry Bradshaw, and many other in the business world). I find little pity in the ones that fail. It's like they want to. Give me 10 million dollars when I'm 25 with no debt. I'm sure I wouldn't be broke now.
