Of course there is. I think the people who get burned out on
any hobby are those who have immersed themselves much too deeply in it. I see it all the time in my profession. People get so caught up in the aviation scene, that they live it almost 24/7. If they aren't flying, they're
thinking about flying, or they're talking about it or reading about it, or arguing about it on some aviation forum. They never step back and get away from it. Balance is critical. I love my cars (and flying, for that matter) but they aren't what I'm about. They don't define me.
