Thx all. Budget, hmm, well, I'd like to stay below $800. It seems like $400-800 should be able to get you a decent gun. Is that a reasonable statement?
9mm seems like a good caliber, cheaper ammo than most others, decent power, but not too hard on the wrist. I'm not adverse to a 45 though or anything in between. I'd like to get a good deal and I'm flexible on the gun. What I'm looking for is reliability, accuracy, and a good deal, probably in that order. I'd like to be confident that when I pull the trigger, the gun goes off, then the bullet should go where I've pointed it. I'm not too worried about the cash, quality over quantity.
Thanks for the info guys. The more the merrier.
