Went through a long research process when we specced out the equipment for our addition, ended up with a couple GE (range and downdraft hood) and a couple Kitchenaid (microwave/convection oven combo and dishwasher). Two main reasons - not enough time on the market for the E-luxe, and the price point and deals beign offered by the other manufacturers were more attractive. Electroluxe had no rebate offers, dealers wouldn't/couldnt deal on the price, even for a full package of appliances. Overall, I got the sense I would have been paying for the name. Other brands however, ended up with a significant savings.
