Growing up in a small city we had a crew of black guys manning the garbage truck-our beagle barked her fool head off when she saw them coming.. We moved to the burbs and a crew of white guys manned the garbage truck- same beagle barked her fool head off when she saw them coming. Beagles are pretty good watch dogs, and are light sleepers. Maybe the dog just saw guys coming and stealing the cans again and again
