When I was a kid, our family dog Foxy, was a small sheltie mix. When he was less than a year old, he was jumped by a black lab one night at the local outdoor rink – both dogs were leashed btw.

From that moment on, he would attack black labs. And only black labs. With any other dog he was only curious – even golden labs. But if it was a black lab, he would launch. The only time he ever bit me was when I jumped into a dog fight to haul him off of a black lab.

And this really has nothing to do with the topic, but it’s interesting anyway. Well, it is to me.
