I don't think starting the car is a good idea ... if (dead OR alive) wasps get ingested by the cooling fan ... they could end up dead on top of your oil cooler or cylinders, or heads, blocking critical airflow!

Best to get them with some fast-acting 'Wasp & Ant Spray' that kills more or less instantly ... then clean up the dead pests with a Shop Vac!
