Warren, guess I over reacted, after seeing a buddy barely able to breath. After all, only some people react so severely to wasp/yellow jacket stings. A quick knock down spray may be more effective here. One bit of advice here...wait until after dark, when they are all in the nest. And if you can still find it, look for a product known as WASP FREEZE, available to professional applicators, but nothing "restricted" in it, so legal for a homeowner to use...it contains a strong pesticide combination, using a propane propellant to actually freeze the wasps as it kills. Oh...Warren...I'll NEVER contradict you on electronics...but one of my pre retirement state licenses was Pesticide Consultant...My theory with the trap? Catch all the worker wasps...then suck out the nest, the queen, & the larvae with the shop vac...
