Just JC being on a downer...
He sees the Aston as being the last cry of the petrol head era....but he said that in the early 90s and has repeated this mantra often...
He's having to make a choice...stay with Top Gear and remain a marginal figure or go move into full time print journalism (ditching TG) and becom a mre important figure in UK politics and opinion.
His written work is better than his TG stuff...
