Never tried NGK's in my 911, but use them in most of my motorcycles. I'd be surprised if there is really much difference between similar NGK and Bosch plugs (discounting some of the tricky platinum types.)
I don't worry much about spark plugs. They're cheap as dirt, and I replace them when they show the slightest bit of degradation.
Considering the environment they have to work in, I think a spark plug is a pretty amazing piece for the money paid.
