well first and foremost the "good" lil snakes DO NOT KILL RATTLERS at a pace quick enough for my likings. yes they do it, but never fast enough for me.
example: watering plants on my front porch..........watering an old metal firebox(metal) from mine in chirachaus(cochise) that i dragged home. usually a rat nest in there so i flood it. went to watering other plant and something told me to water firebox some more. next thing i know heres a 2 ft diamonback coming out of it right at my lil feetzies which were wearing osha approved anti snake flip flops. threw hose down got strategically placed rws pistol and plugged it in the head first shot after he had run about 10 ft after intial scare. classic case of marksmanship on my part owing to the fact i shoot combat wombat matches with my pistols every 4th sunday of the month. practice makes perfect and when called upon the 1st shot put him down enough to go get shovel and finish the bastard off once and for all.
i have killed so many rattlesnakes i have given up count. have lost count how many i have run over on quad or dirt bike. gave up taking stoopid ass pictures and making hatbands and belts. their like flys around here.
but was interesting about this juan was i left his dead ass with head cut off in front yard. took head to dumpster so nojuan would step on or my dawg get a hold of head.
about an hour after my fight to the death with the dastardly serpent i notice another snake...................HOLY POO! run out there with full automatic black evil RWS assault pistol ready to fight to the death again!
its a freeking bullsnake eating the rattler. good bullsnake. happy fat bullsnake. we like bullsnakes. we know how to identify a bullsnake vs. a CROTALUS snake. we educate others on this MARVEL of nature.
we hate rattlesnakes and the only good juan is a DEAD JUAN on my property.
2 weeks ago g/friend found 6 ft green mojave at about 2800 ft elevation here on black mtn. then a week later (5) FIVE 4-6 inch green mojave baby rattlers at same customers house. az. herpotogic society stated "there aint no green mojaves down here"! well when he came out to remove them................they WERE GREEN MOJAVES! dumbass az. herpotologic society dude!
we know our rattlers ................very very well around here considering how many times i have damn near been nailed by juan of those bastards!
