-Only rust is some bubbling on bottom of door edges
-S package including gauges, rockers, fuchs and recaro sport seats
-a few dashboard cracks and headliner stains, but interior is otherwise intact and good. map and door pockets present.
-Current owner says owner before him owned car for over 20 years and swapped out the 2.4 for a 'hot 1969 engine with weber carbs' when his son blew up the engine. PO told him there was ~15k on the engine.
-Car starts, runs and drives but needs a tune up.
-Seller is not a porsche guy per se (american muscle car guy), so he's not sure on some particulars but is adamant that car is in pretty good shape and knew about the typical rust areas. Says anything that was rusty was dealt with in the past and undercarriage is very good.
The big plusses are obviously it being a 73, the S package with recaro sport seats and the low mileage. The big negative is the wrong and who-knows-what engine.
Ballpark fair offer?

You don't mention if it's a coupe or targa. If it's a coupe, and if it's everythng you say, I put the value at $18-22k.
