Being the natural scrounge that I am....I have found many things over the years:

1) It was pouring rain, I was driving home from work. As I passed thru a busy intersection, I saw a tiny piece of green flopping in the dead center of a busy intersection. After another two blocks, I decided to return and see if that was a dollar. I stopped at the red light and there it was....a dollar bill flopping in the rain & wind - dead center of the intersection. When the light turned green, I pulled up to it, opened my door, and scooped it up....it was a $10

2) One day driving home, as I was getting onto the freeway, I spotted a shovel on the side of the road. I went back and scooped it up (no pun intended). It was like new.

3) Ok, not the side of the road, but...when I was in the old denver airport, I saw a bill flopping on an air conditioner vent. I immediately grabbed it and it was a $100. After eating lunch, I saw another bill flopping on the same vent...this time it was a $10

I guess that's one reason I'm always looking at the ground.
