talk to me about a sink food grinder

I know you guys pretty much have em as standard in the US home, in Europe though, they are nowhere to be seen. I used them when i was in the US, brilliant stuff, dump yer crap in the sink, let the tap run, push the button, gone.

Not sure why they aren't popular in Europe, i think it's something to do with waste disposal regulation, which frankly i couldn't care less off... if i eat the foods and poop em out... they get to process the waste anyway, it's just smellier on delivery... right?

Found a local website that has the Insinkerator...ISE 55
0,55 HP Dura-Drive®

* heavy-duty inductie motor.
* Stainless steel grinder ring
* Stainless steel rotating grinde
* Overload protection
* Permantly lubricated
* Quick-Lock® fastening for easy installation
* Jam-Buster® wrench to fix blockages
* "Quite Sound Reduction System".

http://www.insinkerator.com/product/product.php?id=13&template=i&?10,1,3,10

costs about 230 euro's...

or hte ISE 45, similar with .045 HP
185 euro's

There are others, but a lot more expensive

ISE 75
with auto reverse grinder
.75 hp motor
strainless steel grinder housing

640 euro's

Is that a known brand/manufacturer for Food grinders?

I used their "what grinder do you need" and it came up with the 55 version for my needs...
What could be the difference in price for the .75 HP variant?
Is cheaper in this case going to turn out to be weaker and not long lasting enoug?
Do i need .25 HP more to grind my foodwaste? (single, just me to cook for)
