i cringe every time i hear this - it happens way too often and always for the same reasons - i'm not picking on anybody either - it is frequently because somebody just doesn't know better - i feel for you

when you finally get them off do the following 3 things:

1. GET RID OF THE ALUMINUM LUG NUTS - use steel only

2. use anti-seize every time

3. torque by hand ONLY - do not install with an impact gun
