Valentine and normal radar detectors are pretty worthless where I live now. All the police here are using laser. The other day, I got tagged with a laser. When it goes off, it is too late . The officer was pretty nice and just motion his hand telling me to slow down.
The GPS based redlight and speed cameras feature may be useful.
