No kidding. They can charge $20 to carry a bag but won't pay for a top quality flight crew. Nonsense.
If an airline advertised slightly higher prices so they could hire the very best crews, I'd bet a significant % of the population would support that.
Lot and lots of training required to be a top notch pilot. I find it embarrassing that some of them don't even make $100,000.
