I'm afraid I was being facetious. The car theives at the Forum are notorious.
Check out any of the specialty alarm/audio shops in LaLaLand. They'll know how to replace your remote. Doubt anyone will fix it unless it really obvious anyway. Cheaper to do the China thing these days... replace the fob.
