It's a Netgear router w/wireless. It's been stable for almost two years now. At first, I had unplugged it and let it sit a few minutes (a couple of times), but it behaved the same way. It was odd that I could not access it from any of the computers. All except the one with the issue, could ping it without a problem.
Anyway, it took two resets for it to come back. The first allowed the internal issue to go away, but the router would not pick up the DHCP WAN I.P. Second attempt fixed this as well. I was told after this, that the wifi was acting up as well. I upgraded the FW and told them to keep an eye on it.
If this occurs again, I at least know to go pick up a new router first.
The computer that was affected is the office managers and she was in the middle of payroll. The employee coup has been averted - for today...
