hello, check out my 912-project at
http://volkswanker.blogspot.com
the story is sad. ;-) 4 years at the "professional porsche repairer", and i was forced to pick it up, because nothing good happened to the car, it used to be a beautifull car before that 4 years. well that "pro" builded me a motor, from my 66x90 screamer parts, suddenly swapped the parts to a different block and while trying to start it up, he found out that the engine wont turn. ok, i didnt know why, but my opinion is that there might be a wrong sized bearing or something similar, i hope that the 911 s crank is still ok. it didnt need any machining or what so ever. ..
i will take the block apart to know whats wrong, i hope also that the crank is still the 66 S-crank (and the rods were S rods).
last evening when i took the heads off i found out that theres some "foam" in one cylinder, and some strange "sand" in another... huh. plus other strange things.
the car will get "turbo-brakes", 17 inch wheels, plus some other mods as well...
to be continued...
