How about some thread lock when we re-assemble to prevent that from happening again? Any other ideas for a more permanent fix.
Removing and re-installing that black plastic protector that is screwed to the door jam was real fun. Could not get to the rear door handle retaining nut with it in the way. My boogered-up door lock screw head indicated to me that this was a previous problem on my car.
Greased by rattling window regulator tracks while I was in there. Made the whole effort that much more fruitful.
