Hi all:

I'm trying to get my 1969 911T to idle so I can set-up the rebuilt Webers. I'm currently going thru the ignition system per several recommendation on related posts. The car has been sitting for years.

Standard points and distributor set-up (Marelli)

I just cleaned-up the coil - Bosch 0221 102 06- and connections.

I got the following readings: Primary 1.2 Ohms and Secondary 10.2k Ohms

I think this is pretty standard, but not necessarily for the CDI. I've seen numbers much lower quoted for the secondary.

Any suggestions or comments?
