Mark Ten CDI
Standard points and distributor set-up (Marelli)
I just cleaned-up the coil - Bosch 0221 102 06- and connections.
I got the following readings: Primary 1.2 Ohms and Secondary 10.2k Ohms
I think this is pretty standard, but not necessarily for the CDI. I've seen numbers much lower quoted for the secondary.
Any suggestions or comments?
Thanks, Bill

Bill,
For non-CDI coil that sounds ok. It wil boost the voltage from 12 to 12,000 volts to get your spark.
Check to be sure your wires are ok also. Somewhere, there is a resistance value you should see but I do not remember it. It is posted here somewhere.
