They seem to emphasize waterproof-ness, which isn't an issue. Softness is what I want and enough thickness/strength to make sure the cats can't tear it. (Both cats are de-clawed, BTW. Front paws only and NO, we didn't do it...they came from a rescue shelter .)

Anybody have any experience with these, or recommendations on something else that would do the job?

#1--keep cats out of the garage (I have Savannahs and Bengals that are constantly trying to get out to mine as well---I know where you are with this)

#2--cheapo car cover from Walmart is soft enough for your ride, and not expensive enough for you to worry about the cats walking/pissing/crapping on it. it's washable as well.

#3--keep the dogs out of the garage--yes, they too, will get onto of your 928--ask me how I know.

#4--ALWAYS KEEP THE WINDOWS UP. last thing you want is cat pee/poop in your ride.

your cats (except for cheetahs--their claws do not retract) will not use their claws to go up and down, except when scaling trees and such. your 928 is low enough that even the smallest domestic cat can easily jump directly upon it. however, dogs have no choice.

paw prints are bad enough, claw scratches are much, much worse......
