Thanks Scott,
His breathing is looking labored, I'm going to try & reach the vet again in a few hours. Poor little guy.. When he 1st came to me, I thought he was to cute & friendly for someone to have dumped off, so I did the signs & news paper ads, but got no response. hen one Sat. I rember very clearly, as I just got back from a funeral of a PCA friend, hadn't quite changed out of the suite yet & there was a knock on my door. Turns out the little guy is part beaver, he had chewed a hole in the fence & run out in the street, where some idiot had run him over & kept going, luckly, there was a car right behind that one who saw it, and walked up to my door. to tell me. Being a Sat afternoon, there weren't too many vets open, and the 1st one said

: Well, that wasn't going to happen, but the next county over, the Humane Society had a vet that was open. He had a crushed pelvise amond his inuries & busted up leg. The fixed him up, I had to take him back every week for a new cast, the girls at the vet loved him, because he was so good about everything & his friendly nature. I spent over 3 grand on this little bugger who wasn't even mine & just showed up.. He healed up so well, that he could run & jump (yes, this low rider use to jump) like nother had ever happened & seemed truely grateful. All the animals here, chose me, I didn't really have a choice, I'm just their human pet....
