It really wasn't all that badly hurt; nothing but sheet metal. In the old days he would have continued to race it that weekend - it was entirely drivable.
I, for one, applaud a man who would spend that kind of cash on a vintage car and continue to race it. Too many disappear into private, static collections, never to be ran again. My hat is off to this guy. He will fix it and keep on racing it.
