I doubt the chime relay will cause the issues you are concerned about - but since its the wrong type - you are better with no relay that the wrong one - I'd just remove it for now. Its too difficult to try to determine the effects of a relay that shouldn't even be there.
All it does is do the chime when the door is open and the key is in the lock or thr markers are on or the paking lights are on or the ignition is on and the drivers seatbelt is not fastened - no big deal...
