Actually a couple more than 33 years....Went to the Earl's Court Motor Show in London, fall 1974, and was blown away by the red turbo Carrera with red and black plaid interior !
It shared the limelight with the Martini turbo RSR that "mowed the lawn" a few weeks earlier at Brands Hatch.
