Randy, this looks very similar to yours. We gotta make sure we stay nice and trim to fit into these Recaro bucket seat. Its a good way to maintain a steady weight since it would such a shame to ever give up to what I sometimes refer to as "the holy grail of early 911 sports purpose seats". I was using this factory sport seat for my passenger side but had to borrow it so I can use it for my driver's seat for the Viper green 73 E. I have to keep reminding myself, its only on loan and it'll have to go back. In the meantime, since I haven't sold this other Koenig bucket seat, it went back as a passenger seat again.
an afternoon of playing musical seat between the 73 E and the 69S is what resulted in the 2nd photo below.
take note, no ashtray opening on the lower knee pad, clock and radio delete too. No comfort features found here, I can do without the other ammenities. Only the essentials, one very tight fitting Recaro driver's bucket, race belts, Momo Prototipo and re-worked Weltmeister short shifter and the instrument pod in front of me. Its all I need for what I like to do, early 911 sports driving.
its not for everyone but it suits me just fine. I'll keep it this way.
