mine loved the mark III/22/45 tactical solutions rig cuz it was so light and no recoil. wasnt real happy with .38/9mm revolver and semi but has managed to work thru it while she gets used to it.

You know I have half considered this because when I married my wife years ago, I was only a good shot with a rifle or shotgun.... she could definitely shoot better than me with a handgun (her favorite is a Ruger Blackhawk in .44 magnum believe it or not). Long story, but she owned a couple revolvers from her deceased first husband when we married and if not for her, I may never have gotten into handguns.
I kind of enjoy a rare night out with the guys shooting though, so maybe it might not be wise to get the wife doing this.
Besides, I don't know if I could take getting beat by her.
