For the exhaust studs ... just use anti-seize on the exhaust nuts (or thread of the stud).

I was told NOT to use anti-seize on the threads going into the heads b/c you don't want the studs to come out while trying to remove the exhaust nuts in the future. When I tore my engine down half of the studs came out with the nuts.

I also used loctite on the thread going into the heads. Not sure if this is needed though.
