I'm not talking about payday and title loan shops. That's a whole other industry designed to punish stupid people. I'm talking about folks who pay a fee to cash a check someone else wrote them, like a paycheck, tax refund, social security check, etc. It's sooooo easy to cash them for free. Why would anyone pay for it? I really do live in an alternate universe.
