I have never actually calculated the exact amount of money Wal Mart stock has made for us. It helped put my wife through nursing school and pay for our first home. I have traded that stock (bough/sold) for...it must be over thirty years now. I still own some and probably always will.

Well, with all due respect to you and your stock certificates I don't really believe you when you say you've "never really calculated the exact amount of money Wal-Mart stock has made for us" (you use the hyphen here because we're referring to the corporation, not an individual store, as per AP style now) because it wouldn't make sense that anyone wouldn't know how much money they're making or have made on any investment.
However...
Should this actually be the case with you I congratulate you on making more money than you need or have to worry about and humbly request you send a bailout, er, Stimulus Package my way so I can afford to go congregate with the great masses of the unwashed in the stores that have helped to make you so stinking rich!
Should I look for my check anytime soon?
