Two things come to mind. People that sell on Craigslist seem to just about give everything away. Cheap bastards, to put it nicely. Also, every one of these I have seen up close has been a pile, largely because the owner (or owners, there are usually several of them) let the car go a long time ago and the list of problems is longer than your arm. Somehow, this list seldom makes it into the ad. Again, cheap bastards....
