There's no internal IS in the Nikon bodies, only VR in the lenses. You'll be fine with the lenses you have w/o VR. You can crank up the ISO pretty high to get most shots. You just won't have the extra low light reach that VR allows. You can always get a VR lens later; there's lots of price points available.
