My case is not yours, but it illustrates my recent experience with Pelican Parts service.
I was in Monterey recently when my shift tube bushing split in half. The resultant slop didn't allow a shift into 1st or 2nd.
After trying many local sources, including the dealer, I contacted Pelican's sales dept. They offered to send the $5 part via FedEx Next Day. That's great service. Luckily, I managed to find a local repair shop (Dave Loop Porsche) with the needed part and was soon on my way.
BTW, the local Pcar dealer could have ordered it....... from Germany.
Kudos to Pelican for offering emergency parts options even though I eventually didn't need it, but it was my Plan B.
