A post of mine from 2004:

Wayne Saves The Day!
Or at least the engine rebuild. Yesterday I posted a thread requesting help on getting or fabbing a z-block for holding a dial indicator to time my cams. I had ordered one a week ago from Pelican, but when I called yesterday I was told the part was on back order with no ETA. I figured what the hell nothing I can do about it and went to the board to figure out a way around my problem. Never thought once about *****ing to Wayne as I know he has no control over his suppliers. Well Wayne was reading the board yesterday and saw my posting. Turns out the part had just come in and the guy I talked to just didn't know it had. Wayne immediately sends me not only a response on the board, but a PM and an e-mail regarding the part and sends it out overnight FEDEX at no charge to me! I am now sitting here holding the Z-block in my greedy little hands! Now that is service and one more reason why Pelican gets my business!

Another post of mine from last April:

I'll agree that Pelican has high shipping charges, but when I needed a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for my 325i and needed it overnight, they are the guys I went to. The shipping was something like $46.00 for $150 worth of parts that maybe weighed 2 lbs, but I really needed them overnight and at 2 p.m. the next day they were sitting on my doorstep.
