A life-saving gun is absolutely priceless. I'm just saying, $600 can get you a very easily replaced, 110% reliable carry gun. There's a pretty painful story on SIGforum about a guy from Philly who didn't even clear leather when a homeless bum rushed him with a knife. Bum called the cops before the CCW'er did. He not only went to jail, but had all his guns confiscated. Took him years and mucho $$ to get it fixed. What the law says and how it works are two very different things.
