I'e head this about the glock safeties before. All I know is that in past experiences with them I've always felt confident shooting them. Another tupperware gun that came to mind is a P99, or the slightly more (metal) traditional PPK. Enough stopping power with the .40 (or, in the PPK's case, a 380) yet still light. I'm not sold on the reliability of the newer Walthers.
I'm all for the ruggedness, reliability, and safety card that is a 1911... but finding those qualities in a lightweight subcompact polymer gun ... well.. they do seem chinced on don't they?
