A driver for renault says that he was instructed to crash his car. He says he crashed his car under team orders to help his team mate.

Sour grapes is a weak argument, it's too damaging to both renault and him, so I don't think he's dumb enough to make it up.

I don't know one way or the other but just based on deductive reasoning and human nature, it would be more likely that it is true than it is made up.

Reasoning makes for a better argument than emotion.

Ok, fair enough, we'll have to wait and see the outcome from the investigation... no tin foil hats here...

where did you get the information that Nelson stated he was instructed to crash?

I haven't been able to find that yet.
