I saw a similar rack where the drain tiles were set in a wall of spec mix. For weight considerations I'm sure the spec mix was only 2-3" deep set on some wire. It was amazing looking and was a 100+ bottle setup. I have a 5x8 wall in a closet-converted-wine-cellar that I still hope to try this on...someday...
