Possible responses :
- Oh dear, and i have been patiently waiting for the last 2 years, i really hoped that i would have gotten this particular job, and as such i told everybody else that i wasn't interested. Now what ? I'm really at a loss here, all my dreams...down the drain... Please Please Please reconsider?!

- But could i send you my new resume? It's been 2 years, maybe my profile improved and now you can find a match for it???
Or i can send you a forcast of what my profile will look like in 2 years, so you can file it, then check it in 2011, and see if it matches the job openings you have then?

- I understand, but how about this, i am quite good at many things.
Perhaps i could come over, and deliver an efficiency consultancy on site.
