Talking about the 72 Summit Series, Canada vs USSR, Paul popped the winner but who was the coach and where were you when it happened.
I was in grade 8 and the high school I went to had a tv in every room, the day before the final game we asked our teacher if we were going to watch the game or not, he was not going to give us an answer so we all showed up the next day with our jackets on, ready to skip out if we couldn't watch the game, he saw we were serious and turned the TV on for us, he wanted to watch too. When PH scored the whole country erupted, it was fantastic. I know a girl that went to Russia with her family to watch the games there and all the Canucks were in the nose bleed section, when Paul scored they all stood and sung the National anthem, very emotional and a true Canadian moment. The Russians were good, the KLM line was superb - just not quite good enough though.
