I'd guess you don't really give up a lot in MPG, but MT usually have more road noise. Plus people switching to MT's are usually doing it for the look, seriously how many of the MT trucks/Jeeps are really taken offroad? That's why when you see them they are almost bald, they are expensive and wear fast. I had the BFG AT's on my old Wrangler they were great, good traction, nice on the street and no noise. I switched to the Kumho AT's on my truck and like them too. The Kuhmos were only on for 10K (cause I sold the truck) but they were fine. I don't think there tread was as agressive as the BFG's but I didn't notice them wearing any faster or anything. Dueller Revo's are a great tire for a vehicle that sees mostly road use. They will be good for occasional offroad use. That is what came on my 07 Wrangler and they have 34K miles on them and still look new. They are great on road and still give good traction off. My only complainant is that I wish they would wear faster cause I want a larger tire, but I can't seem to get them to wear out.
