There just happened to be a classified ad in the Sac Bee this weekend. '58 Project car with no rust.

I called. It is, by the owner's account, a primer bodied, running engine, weak transmission car. I'm assuming the interior is not good. He is asking $1500, but on the phone he already hinted at lowering the price.

This could be something. He said what is there is stock. I've got to do a little research on the specific year before I go look.
